Came accross a prisoner's magazine. Had asks the prisoner if they are interested in outside contributions. Was thinking to ask the following people to contribute Jane Addams, Anna Branch, Algernon Crapsey, Josephine Peabody Marks etc. Asks Markham to send something for the magazine.

California poet. Raised near Vacaville, became a schoolteacher in Coloma and later in Oakland. Zona Gale was a prominent writer and political activist born in Portage, Wisconsin. Gale attended the University of Wisconsin and worked as a reporter in Milwaukee. Gale, a lifelong friend of Jane Addams, became involved in the fight for the women's vote and eventually went to work for the writer Edmund Clarence Stedman.
